It has been 5 days since we back here in BPN. Glad that we are back home after 2 � months away. Kids are especially happy being able to get access to their toys again (with a bit of upgrade done by daddy � before I left last time, I bought a 4 by 5 meter carpet from a friend to fit into their toys room). It does make a lot of different when the floor is carpeted. Lagi best nak main golek-golek, boleh tumble around.

Anyway, our trip to S�pore to gain access to Indon was horrible. It dawn upon me that all our trips to this country is actually cursed in some way. Hehehee. Husband yang pointed it out. Everytime we are here, mesti ada disaster hit us. Aliff was down with fever due to ear infection (he went swimming at the hotel pool) when we were there. Terbang S$171 for the treatment (berapa tu dlm RM??). with that, it also interfered my shopping plan. Tak puas tau! Husbang yang understanding itu telah let me go loose on the day we are leaving. He stayed at the room to look after the 3 kids while I went out for my shopping excursion. Tetapi.. ehhehe.. satu apa pun saya tak beli sebab saya ni baru beranak, maka seluar-seluar yg size biasa saya pakai tu semua tak muat lagi. Macam rugi plak nak beli bigger size. Hehehe.. perasan nya boleh loose weight lagi la tu.

Being back here, I already have a long list of things to do prior to our relocation. Kena withdraw kids from school here, sending notice to Aliff�s swimming club and the religious teacher for intention to pull out, my once a month charity lunch for old folks home also comes to an end, no more hosting for playgroup, and no more cooking lessons at home that we taking turn to do. Sedih jugak bila fikir-fikir.

On top of that, I�ve downloaded the admission forms for school in JKT. It�s a good thing that the school calendar starts in August. Perfect for Aliff�s admission (and Aliyah�s too). Husband has already short listed some houses for final inspection and selection. Mak aii, mansion-mansion yg besau-besau gitu sapa yang nak duduk? From the photos, memang la nampak gah dan cantik, lengkap ngan swimming pool semua. But then aisey, family saya ni simple aje. Tak sesuai la with that sort of living. I am not interested with all those fancy looking mansion. I�d rather choose a house that located in a compound like where we are now.

The compound where we are living now is very nice. Complete with all the facilities needed. In fact, tengah2 malam buta kalau aircond is not working we could call the maintenance team to come and fix. They are on 24 by 7 standby. Siap service cuci tingkap, cuci atap rumah, fogging twice a month. Tukar bulb pun mereka yang buat. In fact, ada jugak service utk cuci dan shampoo carpet for free. Apa sahaja yang tak berkenan di hati atau nak tambah storage or anything, cepat aje mereka come to get it done. Semua tu free (termasuk electric, water and cable tv). Dah la the whole house ni running on aircond all the time � bathrooms pun aircond ok! All have been included in the house rent. Berapa sewa nya? Memang la mahal tapi berbaloi sebab all in. Err, sebab tu jugak saya agak sedih sebab it�s not much longer for us to stay here.

We are going to JKT for 10 days next week. For me to settle the school registrations and select the house. I am thinking of taking my maid along to look after the kids since I am going to be busy. Amboi, syok la dia dapat dok hotel for 10 days, tak yah masak & kemas rumah. Then, we have the remaining 10 days in BPN to get ready everything. Removalist pun dah datang yesterday to assess the amount of things we have for the relocation. I�ve asked them if their service including the unpacking as well. Heheheeh.. oh, teramat la senang kalau mereka juga tolong unpack. And yes, all that are included. Tinggal nak tunjuk aje where everything goes. Baguss..

I�d better run. Sebenarnya, household saya sekarang ni tengah marathon fever. Aliff has passed the baton to Aliyah. Her cheek is now flushed pink with watery eyes. Mummy pun rasa sengal-sengal ala-ala nak demam jugak ni.

So many things have happened for the past week. I am glad I didn't have time to blog several days ago. Otherwise, all sorts of ugly words could have appeared � untuk meluahkan perasaan yg amat tak puas hati. Tapi tak apalah, as I told myself � I want to be able to put all that behind and laugh about it, walaupun sebenarnya tak kelakar langsung. Menyakitkan hati ada lah. Kalau saya ada power untuk sumpah orang jadi batu, time tu jugak saya buat.

Anyway, because of that stupid incident, my husband had urged me to come back home earlier than we planned. One month early. Sigh. But I guess I should be heading home right now for the relocation arrangements. And my husband being such an organized person has already all dates planned out for me;

10 days for me to come to JKT for house inspections and school registration. He already went to view the houses and shortlisted them for me for final look � of course lah final say come from the wifey kan? Sebab I yang nanti dok terperuk kat rumah tu. Ehhehe.. tak ada lah.. kata persetujuan suami isteri la.. baru lah aman rumah tangga. Another 10 days for me sorts out the packers to come and pack everything. Bukan busy apa pun, tinggal nak tunjuk aje barang apa nak pack. Depa yang buat semua. Nak pindahnya in the middle of August.. All seems pretty exciting.

On the other hand, I am feeling a bit sad having to leave my nest here. We've been here for 2 � months and it has been fantastic to be able to re-connect with everything here. The kids went through a bit of adjustments when we first arrived but after a week, all has settled. I managed to enroll Aliff into swimming private lesson along with this one creative thinking workshop that he really enjoyed attending. Sedih nak tinggalkan rumah ni L for I know we won't be having a long stay like this anymore.

Tapi kot mana pun, the biggest mission of why we are here has been accomplished: alhamdulillah, we have Aysha now.

We are leaving this afternoon.. sob, sob.. singgah kat S'pore for 2 days in getting the visa. (ada bau-bau shopping aje gitu) Packing pun belum sudah lagi.. rumah berterabur dgn barang2 yg nak dibawa. Husband will be coming to fetch us. Sian dia. He left JKT early this morning, back to BPN. Then balik rumah sat amik barang dia, off again to fly back to KL at 11. Sampai KL at 4.30 pm and our next flight out is at 6.50pm. hehehe.. boleh cam gitu? Memang dia tak balik rumah pun. Itu nama nya suami mithali, sanggup balik to help out, although I did say that we could just meet up in S'pore. Tapi ye lah, nama dah ada anak 3 tu, barang2 nya memang agak melampau sikit. Segala baby car seat and stroller lagi. Adeeiii lah.

I don�t know if I should be happy or sad about it. It�s all happening too fast for me to get a grasp. A phone call by husband just now made it all confirmed.

It�s a good career enhancement for him, for he is getting a promotion to take over his boss� position (the boss is resigning). Though it also means a bit more dosh comes in but I am not very happy with the news of relocation. By the looks of things, we are going to be based in JKT.

Kenapa, tak best ke nak dok kat JKT pulak? Bukan apa, sedih la .. the past 2 years in BPN has given me the best quality of life with less things to worry about. Tenang, aman damai aje. I always look at JKT as a place to visit, to shop (as to quench my thirst in shopping � sbb kat BPN tak de mall yg best) � not a place to live in.

Entah lah, may be I don�t know the place that well. Who knows I might fall in love with it as well.

Apa pun, kepala tetap berserabut having to think that now I have to scout for school, house to stay, getting the mover to pack things up bla, bla, bla. Adeii lah.. baru nak tarik nafas lega lepas bersalin ni.

But to look at the different light, ada la hikmah nya tu. Allah knows the best for what lies ahead of us and to consider this is rezeki for Aysha.

Err, tekak ni teringin nak makan that thai�s mango with sticky rice. Boleh ke orang dalam pantang makan? :-P tapi ini sudah hari yang ke 27.. aci ke tak?

Introducing the new addition to the family; baby Aysha.

For those who came to visit me & family, many thanks too.

Alhamdulillah, this time around I am more prepared than the previous two deliveries. All seem to be easier. Tak de lah rasa stress, rasa tension ke apa ke. My helper that specially imported from negara seberang came on the day I discharged from the hospital - perfect timing. Badan pun rasa recovered quicker than before. Tak de lah pucat-pucat muka. Nak kata sleep deprived pun tak ada sebab the baby sleeps pretty much all night (tak tau la pulak nanti karang dia tukar sleeping pattern � mau bengkak2 la mata mummy)

Many asked me, �eh, tak follow pantang ke?� hehehehe.. follow, sapa kata tak follow. Tapi ikut my own definition of pantang lah. Tapi tak de lah berani-berani nak makan food yang kita tahu memang sengal dan �membawa padah� to me and baby � well, especially to the baby lah sebab kalau baby sakit perut, nanti mummy jugak yang susah. As long as it's balanced diet, semua pun saya sapu bersih. Saya juga harus mahu itu segala massage, bertungku dan bengkung segala. Kena lah jaga badan, nak pakai lama kan?

J saya jugak telah joint itu kawan baik for lunch last Friday. Hehehe.. awak jgn lah buat terperanjat bila saya telefon ajak lunch. It�s not like u only know me yesterday *lol* In fact, I have to pretend to be a �budak baik� bila pergi mengurut dengan mak awak. Syyyy.

How many days now? Today is the 18^th day. Ayoo, kalau ikut pantang, lambat lagi habis ni. I have gone out many times, I have driven the car, I have done the groceries myself and run the errands. Tetapi the baby masih tetap restrain di rumah. She has to follow a very strict confinement. J must keep her away from public as much as possible sebab takut any illness pulak kan. Hihihihi.. mummy sakit tak apa, jgn anak sakit

A long hiatus from blogging. Since back to KL in preparation for the birth, memang malas nak nak tulis apa-apa. Reason being:

- sibuk balas dendam makan �benda bukan-bukan�. Seronok sangat; with my SIL yg memang kaki jalan and knows all good place for good food. Puas sangat dapat makan apa yg tekak teringin.

- Clearing away unwanted clutter in the house � my house tu dah jadi rumah tumpangan aje since dah tak de penghuni tetap. So banyak jugak lah benda nak kena buat; mopping, dusting and trying to reach every hard to reach nook and cranny. Dah la tak de maid, kena look after budak dua orang tu jugak.

- Sibuk shopping for the baby stuff (and for everybody else jugak). Kalau dah lama tak balik KL tu, macam balas dendam lah kan. Tengok semua, semua nak beli. Membeli macam tak ingat dunia. Every time balik, every time tu la jugak sales nya start. Ish.

Anyway, just a short update: I�ve given birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday at 6.43 am in S*MC. Alhamdulillah, all went well. Azlan came back just in time to join us. He actually flew back one day earlier after Delaila told me that the baby�s head is already engaged and it will pop out soon. So dapat la satu hari spent with daddy before I gave birth. In fact, the night before I gave birth (I already felt the contractions around 15 minutes apart) we went out to Sub*ng Parade for family dinner at T*IF (dengan in-laws semua) and sempat shopping for some daddy�s jeans dan sempat jugak duduk lepak minum di coffee be*n � all that done that night. That morning, at 4.30 am, bila rasa contractions dah 5 minutes apart, baru lah pergi sepital. Dua jam kemudian, selamat lah keluar si kenit ni.

Alhamdulillah, bersyukur sangat sebab Allah has made it easy for me. Eh, tak de lah senang sangat. Ada ke beranak yg senang? Tapi tak de complications, tak de la lama sangat menderita sebelum delivery dan tak de tear, so tak de la stitches. In fact, this time darah pun tak berapa banyak macam the previous two.

Since the company is paying for the hospital bills, maka dapat la saya merasa dok kat sepital punya suite. A bit more room for kids to melepak around. Aliyah siap bawak dvds lagi pulak tu. Pandai-pandai aje lah dia pack sendiri.

Off now. The nurse has just wheeled the baby in. Feeding time for her.

I don�t know what has gotten into me today. In the mood to splurge a little bit after managed to make few bucks on shares trading � so there, I went out alone to the mall. I went in the afternoon, just before zuhur so the driver could take a long lunch and jumaat prayer. Apa lagi nak buat, kalau tak ke saloon untuk manjakan diri. Actually I was in need of pedicure (hehehee.. dah tak sampai nak potong kuku kaki sendiri � my perut gets in the way now. Ish). Alang-alang nak buat pedicure, buat la sekali manicure, hair spa, urut bahu dan tangan sket, reflexology kaki sket, trim rambut sket along with blow. Berapa habis? Ada lah dalam RM70. hehehehe.. then the guilt in me kicked in � kena lah beli few dvds for the kids yang tinggal kat rumah.

On the way home, sempat pulak singgah to this one store �ala-ala ikea� sebab nak cari birthday presents (the kids have 2 parties to attend tomorrow). Not only I managed to buy the presents, terbeli pulak dah big cushion jelmaan anak singa berbulu yang sangat comel dan lembut � sesuai lah nak baring-baring depan tv and a cake stand. Apa hal plak boleh terbeli cake stand ni? Entah lah. Nampak cantik di pandangan mata. Daddy sure garu kepala tengok. Ya ampun. Apa nak kata, pembawakan budak la kot? :-P

10 things that makes me happy.

There�s so much in life that make me happy. Yes, I do have my own ups and down but all that doesn�t beat the happiness in me � more of bersyukur in this term, with all the blessings granted. So I guess in this context, it�s more appropriate if I say 10 things that make me bersyukur so much. J

1) the 2 children I have, plus 1 on the way. They are the best things that ever happened to me. I know I may not be the best mum in the world, but wohooo I have small army here that I can give orders now. The other day, I had a cut on my lips and bleed (resulting from Aliyah jumped from the bed onto my lap � I was sitting on the floor by the bedside); these 2 small nurses had come to rescue taking things in control without me saying anything � Aliff ran to the kitchen to grab some ice covered in tea towel (the best thing to keep the lips from getting swollen) while Aliyah kept on blowing my lips as if to take the pain away. Hehehehe.. manyak best bila ada orang kasik attention macam ni.

2) I have a husband who treats me good. Never once I have doubt or second thought of why and how I ended up marrying this guy � walaupun he kept teasing me for marrying a mat salleh celup. Bak kata Whitney Houston �I have nothing if I don�t have you..�

3) Err.. happy because I don�t have a boss to report to? Don�t bother to buy nice clothes to get to work? No office hour to adhere to? Ni lah dia.. I should come out from my comfort zone and do something a bit more. The stock and shares that I have been doing hasn�t given me the pleasure of using that much of brain capacity. Tapi tetap happy sebab dapat duduk rumah and see the kids grow in front of me, without missing all the important events.

4) Since I don�t have job that I keep � the stress level is also minimum. Dulu, adoi lah, tak senang tido malam, phone must always be my side in case ada system problem. Kena pergi kerja tengah-tengah malam to put in fixes or new enhancement to system. Tension wooo.. sekarang ni the tension is altered to a different level � so I guess I am happy (that way).

5) Happy to be where I am now. Though it�s not a very canggih town with all those up market malls, but the life quality here is to bargain for. No bad traffic, abundance of green areas for the kids to run around and I would say it�s a healthier life we have here (less time spend at the shopping malls, patut lerrr). Kat KL, mana pernah terfikir nak hayun kayu golf? Nak join sports club? Pergi padang just to have a bit of ball kicking (oh, Aliff now is attached to his new aussie footie, lantak lah � bukan reti main pun, janji keluar peluh)

6) Happy sebab husband baru belikan sebijik tepon baru after my O2 tu dah near to the death term. I got rid of the O2 and in return another phone to alternate for our maxis�s numbers. So dapat 2 phone baru � tak happy ke tu?

7) Above all that mentioned; I am happy for we have food to be put on the table, we have time for each other, we don�t need a big house nor a fancy car to make us happy (tak ada hutang nak bayar at the end of the month sebab kereta & rumah semua dah settled) and most importantly we happy for the blessings given to us from Him. Alhamdulillah. Errr.. pointer number 7 incorporates the rest of the pointers too. So dah cukup la seploh ek?

Wokeh Nonie. I�ve settled my debt to you � have answered the tag. Hari ni macam free la pulak sebab tak payah masak dinner. Hehehee.. hubby tak dak, gi JKT. Can�t wait for him to come back tomorrow for he has promised me a bottle of Ribena. Wife dia yang pregnant ni sengal nak minum ribena tapi BPN tak dak jual. Hahahaah.. boleh gitu? (ada kedai yg brings in imported stuff tapi out of stock plak. I bought ribena from this shop hari tu � pergghhh harganya boleh dpt 4 botol ribena from KL. Bila check the label � oh, patut lerr.. made in UK. Cis!)

Wow! Lama nya tak update blog. Time really flies fast. Not exactly laid low in March, but because I was away - spent almost 3 weeks hols back in KL. This trip was particularly extra busy with wedding � my sister�s wedding! Eh, eh, Irma tak invite pun kengkawan datang the wedding ek? Sorry lah, betul punya lupa daaa.. sbb it�s not my wedding kan, so the invites tu macam tak ambil pot. Busy hal yang lain. Hehehehe.. but the wedding was great, all went smoothly.

March also has seen us being hit badly with financial bleeding. Every time we are home, memang tak sah kalau expenditure tak hit 5 figures. On top of that, the KLCI pointers yang turun mendadak � akibat pilihanraya forced me to put up a brave face. Gila aa.. tu la degil , tak mau dengar cakap suami. He has been nagging me to let go a few of my non performing counters and because of my own stubbornness, we were looking *gasp* at loss (on paper lah) of sebijik kereta kelisa. Adeiii lah.. I am ashamed to show anyone my portfolio. Ngeri tengok.

Speaking of pilihanraya, I came back just few days before the event. Yay! First time in my life I get to exercise my rights to cast the vote. Berat hati sebenarnya nak pergi sebab tak mau queue lama-lama tapi rupa-rupanya end-to-end it only took me less than 10 minutes for the whole process. Wow! Bagus tu..

I am now 30+ weeks pregnant. Have another 60+ days to go before the EDD. Call me overwrought if you want � because I am. Mana nak fikir the household yang di BPN, my delivery in KL and the arrangements. Sedih pun ada. Everyone in the family has to make some sacrifice. The plan is for me and Aliyah to go first in early May (since my due is in early June � can�t fly after 35 weeks). I can�t take Aliff with me since the school term will only ends in late June. So daddy and Aliff will fly back to join us in late May � hopefully in time for the baby�s grand entrance (or exit??). I have to entrust the running of house in my maid�s hand � making sure there�s food to eat on the table and Aliff�s welfare taken care well. At the same time, I am seeking a temporary maid to help me out back in KL. Aiyoo.. mana nak korek temp maid ni?? I can�t bring my maid back with me because her passport is expiring and it�s a hassle to renew it � tak cukup masa. Plus we have to drag her to m�sian embassy in JKT to get approval for temporary access to M�sia. Susah nya!!! I wish we have an embassy here in BPN. Senang cito.

I am also thinking of �exporting� my MIL to BPN to help out. So at least, Aliff has got company. I can�t bear the thought of leaving him alone with maid while daddy at work. It�s not fair for him. Hoping with nan around, she can help out overlooking his school work and takes him to extra curricular activities.

Adoi lah.. see? No wonder I am always have headache lately. Plus both kids are hyper in arguing now. Every single thing pun boleh argue. It�s really annoying at times. Macam nak tertanggal telinga. This morning, in the car on the way to school � Aliyah was showing a scratch on her foot and said �abang, look at my scratch..� Aliff took a quick look and said �nope, that�s not scratch, that�s scab..� and it�s all started. Ini yang bikin darah mummy naik nih. Grrr.. Tapi bila fikir balik, eh, betul lah tu. Hehehehe.. the scratch that Aliyah had has form into scabs. So who is winning here?

I should sign out, get some panadol and hit the hay for a quick nap while they are both at school�

Random facts.

These are more of random facts about me here in BPN..

1) I cook more now

The amount of cooking I have done since we moved here probably beat the amount I had done in my marriage life back in KL. I only noticed how much we have been spoilt with abundance of food selection back in KL with variety of eateries yang bersepah-sepah. Ecewah, lagi pun dulu I kan kerja.. hehehe.. (excuse ke tu?) Kat sini lah baru belajar nak masak roti sendiri, making ravioli from scratch, punggah segala reseipi kuih-kuih melayu tu (seri muka, karipap etc), buat sendiri salsa � sampai panas2 tangan sebab chopping chilies sebab teringin nak makan. Mana nak cari �shortcut� kat sini? Ha, nak kutuk? Kutuk lah.. hehehehe..

2) I buy fresh food from the wet market (on my own)

It was a horrific experience when I first arrived here. Kena tipu bulat-bulat � they knew I was an outsider. But not anymore (walaupun mungkin still kena tipu jugak sikit-sikit). As compared to last time, mana rajin nak pergi wet market pun. Dulu dok ulang carre4 yang dekat rumah (and sometimes from cold storage) tu aje lah for all fresh products.

Now? Hheheheeh.. those dark alleys in the market sudah ku harung. Dah tau dah selok-belok. Siap dah buat kawan dah dengan sellers kat situ. In fact, on days that I feel more energetic, I would go to a more dilapidated wet market sebab kat situ harga lagi murah.

3) I eat bird�s eye chili raw.

Ok, may be for some it�s not big deal.. hahaha.. but it is for me. If we buy kuihs here, sometimes it comes with chilies. Masa mula-mula dulu agak pelik. Takkan makan murtabak dengan cili padi? But now, ohh sungguh enak kalau makan tahu isi (our favourite here) dengan cili padi.. crunch, crunch, crunch. See how much I�ve �indonesianize� myself?

4) Queue from the side, not from the back

This does get me to the wits end. Penat-penat aje beratur from the back, suddenly someone will come, stand next to the person who is first in line and squeeze from the side and gets in. eh, eh? Cam gini ke beratur?? The first time it happened to me, the driver came to my rescue as he saw me standing there clueless. Hehehe.. dia pun queue dari tepi and let me in. oh, gitu ek? Tak ada orang marah ke? So from there on, I�ve picked up the skills, tengok tempat lah.. tempat yang agak kureenggg sikit, memang kena beratur cam gitu.. hehehehe.. pelik, pelik tapi benar..

5) My friends are from all walks of life

Apart from the international circuit (the expats community), I am also referring to the locals. These people that I met everyday when I go shop at the supermarket, wet market, groceries store, toys store, cd store, saloon, spa centre, restaurants etc � they remember faces and names very well. No, no, I am not special that they remember me.. nothing along the line at all.

The kids names are well carved in the head for those who serves at the hotels we frequents. �hello Aliyah, hello Aliff.. apa khabar?� ; bukan satu hotel, ni 3 hotel with different cafes yg kami selalu pergi.. ayooo..

At the supermarket, if they see me alone, they�ll be asking �di mana aliff, ibu? Sekolah ya?� �aliyah nya ngak ikut ya?�

I stepped into this spa centre that I haven�t been for a long time and be greeted straight away �mau massage ya, ibu irma?� opss..

Most recent, I made a call to this car rental service and asking for a quotation. The guy who was at the other end of line asking if this is �mrs xxx, from mesia� padahal all I said that I rent a car from them last year and wondering if they could give the same quotation. whoaaa.. korang ni memang terrer gila aaa..

Maka saya consider mereka semua ini kengkawan saya kerana mereka tau nama saya & family. Personal note to myself: don�t make a mess with them, otherwise..

6) saya deprived magazines

I don�t read local magazines (except when I want to kill some time at saloon � dah tu aje yg ada). Every opportunity when we are out of town to a more civilized city will see me grab whole heaps of them to bring back. Tak ada lah banyak pun, I am only loyal reader of oz woman�s day and reader digest. So segala back dated magazines of the above pun akan ku angkut pulang. My husband has learnt about my deprivation. So if he�s in jkt, he will buy some for me. Yippie, keep my sanity level back up again. Ntah apa-apa aje bunyi nya kan? But this is the ugly truth.

Alahhh meen, aku boleh korek 6 aje lah.. lagi dua tu kira burnt la ya? Hehehehe.. nak cepat nih, nak pergi ambil aliyah from school.

But in a nut shell, I love my life in here. It is a lot simpler, less demanding and more quality time spends with the kids (and husband).

Weekend was good � with daddy back at home after 10 days away on site. Saturday is suppose to be our usual eat out night but it turned out to be just mummy-and-daddy night as the kids surrendered to bed early. Busy bees throughout the day have seen them hit the sack at 6.50pm, tidur sampai esok paginya pukul 6.30am. bagussss.. keep it up kids.. hehehe..

With that, daddy took mummy to a special dinner at our favorite hotel (ni kira belated anniversary lah ni). I regretted myself for eating pulut kuning and rendang ayam when the kids were having dinner earlier on at home. Kalau tahu nak pergi tempat best, memang akan biar perut kosong. :-D but then again, those char grilled lamb and tapas were fantastic. Walau kenyang, tetap cari tempat kosong untuk sumbat jugak. By 10, we both already back home, ready to retire.

The next night, we wanted to go to the store to buy table and chairs for our patio. Since it is going to be a short excursion, we took the kids along. We had early dinner and pray maghrib at the mosque and plan to go straight away to the store. Tetapi, Aliyah sudah tergolek tido, clad in her tudung on her small pray mat, while waiting for us to finish pray maghrib. Satu hal pulak hantar dia balik ke rumah.. Pukul 8, Aliff pun dah merengek nak balik sebab dah mengantuk. ayoo.. looks like we can�t go out at night with the kids anymore. 8.30 sampai rumah, and by 9.30, rumah sudah senyap with everyone in bed.

Best betul hidup kat sini, tak ada hassle, no more late nights.

Tengah mati kutu nih. It�s only 8 plus, but the household is all quiet. Kids are already asleep � pukul 7.50pm dah tergolek dah dua-dua nya. Husband is away, on site. Tu yang lagi boring tu, tak de geng nak layan borak.

It�s okay. In a way, it gives me some time for me to catch up watching some dvds of my own choice. Hahaahha.. saya layan soapy stories masa suami tak ada.

I�ve been getting phone calls (and returning the calls) to my SIL who is now having time of her life for a bit of vacation in Europe. Nasib baik the mms yg dia hantar masa dia kat coliseum didn�t reach me. Hhehehe.. so tahap jeles tu tak ada lah �hijau� sangat.

Dengan keadaan sekarang ni, harus lah redha untuk banyak duduk kat rumah aje. Nak pergi jalan ke mana nya kalau dah perut makin lama makin besar ek.

Tapi tak apa, seketul el-vi handbag from there is already secured for me (sana lagi murah kan kalau nak compared beli kat mesia) � itu hadiah yg wife dengan tak malu nya mintak the budget from husband for our anniversary. Dengan budget yang ciput dan euro yg mahal itu, dapat lah jugak kirim some bajus from zara for the kids. Errr.. she said, filthy cheap during sales.. maka ku suruh angkut banyak-banyak untuk aliff dan aliyah. And last night, my SIL told me that she has also get hold of some stuff for husband in return for the handbag. *yippie daaa* sepasang kasut dan sehelai jeans, both from hugo boss. Dan dia jugak tidak dapat tahan nafsu dan telah menambah kan jugak seketul lagi handbag for me. The latest from furla. Arghh.. mati lah.. mana nak korek duit nak bayar semua shopping expense nih??

With all the above, I can�t wait to come home this march to get my hands on them. Ni dah drooling dah nih.

Busy betul sejak balik �bercuti� dari Kay-El. The absence of my children during my stint back home has really seen me gone wild in shopping (the first day I was in KL was the first day of sales!! Gila ke hapa?). Apa tak nya, tak boleh nampak anything associated to them, gatal la rasa nak membeli � nothing stopping me. Husband�s jaw must have dropped several miles upon seeing the potter pushing my trolley out laden with berkoyan-koyan bags and boxes when he came to pick me up from the airport. Overweight tu mmg dah kira my tagline lah. Bukan selalu kan? *winks*

Aliyah has now started her toddler class. Of course, not a very rosy beginning � harus lah ada sikit crying session in the morning when mummy saying good byes to her. She is only two in age and the separation anxiety is a bit overwhelming. Hehehee.. tak apa, kita bagi dia sikit masa lagi to adjust. But as soon as the crying is over, she is pretty much occupied and happy in the class � she sings a lot at home now, all these songs that she learnt from school la tu.

Aliff is independent on his own. I don�t really have any issue with him. He winks at me if he sees me around (because of Aliyah, I do stay around the school a bit) but doesn�t bother to come near me. Kalau dulu, pantang nampak mummy terus nak berkepit celah ketiak aje. Oh dear, he is only 5 � rasa sedih pun ada. Pulak dah??

Yesterday was our 6^th wedding anniversary. Didn�t do anything special as husband flew to JKT on the mid day. And the night before tu pun tak keluar dinner because I had the nerve to bicker with him (although he did ask if we want to go out tapi tengah merajuk, so no can do lah kan?), tapi dah baik dah sekarang. Dah kawin ni, tak baik merajuk panjang-panjang. (sorry lah sayang, hormone tengah tak baik, you shouldn�t pick a pick bone with me.)

The funny thing is no matter how mad I was feeling during the downtime, but as soon the word apologize exchanged (apologize does have to go both ways regardless whose fault kan?), all that will be washed away. Now my heart is sinking, sebab sudah ada sikit rindu lah. J ingatkan dah lama kawin, all that feelings subsides, tapi sebenarnya tidak. Semoga Allah panjangkan jodoh kami ke akhir hayat. Amin.

p.s: I�ll keep the �dinner voucher�, to be claimed on our trip back home this March. Avanti � here I come (this place never fails me for good indulgence and bigger hole in husband�s pocket). *evil laugh*

Just when I am trying to be a bit more proactive in earning my own pocket money, the system is down. Ayooo.. marah sangat mak nih. I�ve called up the remiser and she informed me that they are rectifying the problem. Double ayooo, this is not acceptable. Do they know how many people out there are relying on the online system for the most updated info?? If I couldn�t get my live quotes, I cannot make decision whether to jump in, or swim out or to just stay put. Hahahaha, I�ve worked behind the scene before, so I guess I know how it feels to be in hot situation when the system is inaccessible. Now I�m on the user end, it�s my turn to bark. *evil laugh*

So I guess I should divert my energy to updating my blog. Of late, suka jalan-jalan baca blog orang tapi malas nak update sendiri punya sebab tak de cerita best pun. My life is mostly revolving around the kids and domestic issues eg: on scavenger hunt to get stuff for aliff to begin new school academic year (yesterday was first day of school), getting shopping provisions done for the next 3 weeks of supply, stocking up dinner to be put in the freezer (hubby sudah order mahu makan lasagna, on top of pizza base to be made, spaghetti and meat pie, all to be sumbat masuk freezer � maid boleh buat salad as meal complement). Almaklum lah, mummy nak pergi �holiday� for 10 days in kl, maka kena lah buat planning in making sure the whole households going to be function as per normal. I am also making arrangement for Aliff�s lunch - order through school from a sport club nearby. Dia sekarang balik sekolah pukul 2.15pm, so ada lunch break.

Since beginning of the year, we have also started religious class for him on a daily basis. Daddy has been nagging at mummy for being slacked, not wanting to continue taking Aliff to mosque for his quran reading lesson. My stand? It�s not worth the time spent if he�s only end up reading for 10 minutes with the ustazah but the journey back and forth is forty minutes. Hehheehhe.. jahat sungguh la mummy ni. So now we have hired 1 quran teacher and 1 teacher from Islamic primary school to come and teach him in the afternoon (not only quran reading, but covers all the fardu ain aspects, hadith and writing). Tu dia, bukan takat sorang cikgu, pi pulun dua cikgu. But he prefers the primary teacher since she can speak English while the other one can�t. Aliff still have his private swimming lesson on Sunday mornings. With that, I think he is more than occupied with his time now. Bagusss,,. Kurang la sikit tengok tv. Petang-petang masih ada masa untuk keluar bermain, pergi park, naik basikal. Pukul 6.30pm dah mintak dinner and pukul 8 dah boleh tergolek tido dah.

Alhamdulillah everyone is back to normal now. We got to redeem a good relaxing Sunday yesterday. We went to the gym in the morning with the kids tagged along. Mereka pun sibuk nak ikut, just to have a bit of fun around. I managed to force myself to be on the treadmill for a good 20 minutes walk � hehheeheh.. cukup lah tu for my cardiovascular exercise, followed with some stretching. I took the kids home to have morning snack while daddy continue for another hour. Ntah apa dia buat sampai 2 jam kat gym, payback time la kot?

Then, we later head off to the mall to have lunch and dvd hunting. Dapat lah beli lagi 4 episodes of Heroes. Sempat la bertekak dengan Aliff sebab dia nak beli some kids dvd but all are under the Christmas theme. Mana boleh beb? But I can�t blame him, most of the dvds on display are all Christmas stories. Adehhh..

Afternoon, we took the kids for a bit of swim at the pool and have a quiet dinner at home. Malam tu layan perabih tengok transformers yang sudah basi.

Tonight, we don�t have anything plan for new year eve. Bukan celebrate pun. But daddy did suggest that we go out for buffet dinner somewhere nice. Setakat makan dinner aje, tak de nya nak tunggu sampai midnight as I plan to take Aliyah and Aliff as well. Budak-budak ni pukul 9.00pm dah pengsan, so tak de makna nak tunggu sampai the clock strike 12.

As I went out earlier this morning, the sights of vendors selling corn along side of the road really make me wonder why. Ramai gila, macam ada pesta pulak. Oh rupanya, the locals ni suka bakar jagung malam new year ek. (pak supir kata, ayam & ikan mahal. So alternatively bakar jagung lah. Gitu ke?). On top of that, you�ll be seeing assortments of colorful paper trumpets and masks are on sell by the road side too. Meriah sungguh lah.

Perhaps, I should make suggestion to daddy to drive around town at midnight to see how the locals celebrate new year. Last year, kami lepak kat hotel aje � makan dinner sampai midnight then terus balik rumah.

Anyway, happy to new year to all. May it bring more blessings to us all.

Our trip to Yogja was sort of ruined because everyone was not well. I have been under the weather since 2 weeks ago � I couldn�t seem to brush off the virus of me. Degil betul. This is the longest that I�ve been hit with flu, cough and fever. I had 5 days of bad fever just before we left to Yogja that made me not looking forward towards our vacation. Badan tak sihat, flu, batuk, blocked nose, blocked ears (it got worst during airborne time � it hit me like a pin prick to my ear drum that I had to equalize every now and then. Sakit nya!)

The third day we were there, Aliyah was down with fever, while me still recovering. We did have few excursions out exploring the city, the keratons (where the king and queen lives), the tamansari (where the king�s 13 gundiks used to bersiram and he�ll come to mengintip and choose one that he like to spend time with � I�d called him pervert. Heheheh), the famous Borobudur and few places that offer souvenirs like batiks, silverware and other handicrafts. Oh, mak sungguh lelah kena panjat tangga nak naik sampai ke puncak Borobudur temple. I had to take few breathers while Aliff sudah berlari-lari sampai kat atas, siap memanjat-manjat keliling stupas. He was the only one that has the most energy during our stay in Yogja. He is the only one went swimming at the very nice pool at the hotel, playing slide at the kids camp while Aliyah merengek-rengek sebab tak sihat.

I recommended Hyatt Yogya as place to stay in here � very green and lush, breathtaking view. Azlan caught the sight of the famous Merapi volcano when he went out to play golf (the hotel also has its own golf course) early in the morning � 6 am!! Duh! (the top of the mountain is usually covered with mist � so selalu tak nampak) Superb!

We also celebrated eidul Adha here in Yogya. I brought along baju melayu for Aliff for him to go pray to the mosque with daddy. Jalan kaki aje, masjid dekat dengan hotel. Eh, bukan masjid, tapi the prayer was being held in an open car space of a university. Meriah la gitu. Tapi tahun ni tak ada lah juadah raya atas table. What we had was the normal breakfast hotel spread.

We hired car for 2 days, but didn�t fully utilize the hours as daddy pulak starting to feel unwell. I did plan to visit Solo and Prambanan but we couldn�t make it since that poor daddy is not well. Wasted betul lah. I was not satisfied with the amount of shopping that I have done � so I dropped off daddy along with Aliyah back to the hotel to rest. Orang-orang yang tak sihat ni tak best bawak jalan-jalan, apatah lagi bawak pergi shopping. Maka saya dua beranak bersama Aliff went off with the pak supir ready to take us out for our shopping excursions. Dalam hujan renyai-renyai tu, ku redah segala kedai yang pak supir bawak. Puas la jugak hati. Aliff pulak in sporting mood keeping me company, no whining, no pleading to go back (because I�ve already told him that he could buy some books from the book store at the hotel). Balik hotel, sudah gelap daaa.. daddy sudah calling-calling asking where we were. Hehehehe.. tu lah dia kalau dapat lepas � macam tak nak balik dah.

The only thing that I regretted is that we didn�t get to explore the local eateries that much. We only ate out for dinner once � but the place was wonderfully superb, puas dapat makan lobster dan seafood segala. The rest of the nights were at the hotel�s caf�. I already know by heart the menu. Hmmphh. The waiters pun dah tau our room number. Tak payah sign bill la ek?

Anyway, it was a bit sad how we ended our vacation. Both Aliff and Aliyah being admitted into hospital the day after we got back from Yogja. Aliff pun turut demam sama bila sampai ke BPN. Adoi la. High fever can�t be tolerated and the doctor wont rule out the probability of them being hit with dengue fever. Maka dua-dua kena tahan. We were entitled for first class single bed and they wanted to put each kid in different room. Mana boleh la kan? Siapa nak jaga kalau dua-dua stays apart. So special arrangement being made for them. Hehehe.. letak la dua katil dalam satu bilik. The room was good and spacious, with sofa that I could lean back to nap, tv and very clean bathroom. Belasah aje la labu asalkan senang mummy nak jaga dua-dua. Kalau dah dua-dua kena IVF drips tu, pening nya handle. Satu nak pergi pee, satu lagi merengek nak tergolek-golek. Both had to take nebulizer and ntah apa-apa ubat endlessly. Boring betul la. Daddy brought laptop for the kids to watch dvds so it did keep them occupied and killed the boredom. The third day, we requested from the doctor to release the kids. Aliff couldn�t take it anymore. Dia sudah main-main bawah katil with a mentos box turned into an imaginary car, panjat-panjat katil to look outside through the window. Kesian. Aliyah pun dah terpusing-pusing on the bed, couldn�t care less about the tube attached to her. She also tried to hop down by herself to go to Aliff�s bed. So the kids being released with condition � if the fever still high and appetite drops, we have to bring them back.

Sebenarnya daddy sudah tidak ada faith with the doctors there. hehehe.. he even contemplating of sending us back to KL to have proper treatment. Sumpah tak larat nak lugging dua sick kids with me on the airplane, what more I myself have been a constant panadol cocktail drinker. Pengsan during transit ada la agak nya.

So here we are, back again at home. Everyone is recuperating. Being sick myself and taking care of sick children make me forgotten that I am actually pregnant. I think we all could play song with our different tone of coughing that can be heard almost at the same time. That�s leaving the maid to hold the fort. Kalau dia pun down, I would have to import some family members to BPN to help out. Hehehehe..

dreary, dreary day..

Life is pretty mundane. Nothing much interesting happening here. I have been extremely lazy in updating anything as there isn�t anything to write � apart from my laziness and nap during the day is my favorite pass time now. Boring.

Yes, I do have baby playgroup that I take Aliyah to, I do attend morning coffees with girlfriends here, play dates for the kids, out and about. But there�s no other highlights to my life at the moment. Malas nya!!

I�m coming up to 14 weeks of pregnancy now. Time flies fast; I guess I�ve passed the �uwek-uwek� stage. It was only mild, but during the days when it hit me most � that�s when I want to just lie down on the bed. Malas nak keluar.

But husband living on the sayings �family time is sport time� � I kinda being force to go out a bit more than I want to. Most afternoons you can see me running (err.. walking lah!) with the kids on the field playing soccer. Sekadar kicking around for the kids to let loose. That follows with trips to the playground with me pushing the stroller and Aliff on the bike. There are days that we all jump into swimming pool (oh! How much I like the compound�s swimming pool � always warm and nice). Paling malas pun, we�ll be outside in front of the house jumping on the gigantic trampoline or a bit of basketball kat depan rumah ni (ada pulak la neighbour yg rajin pacak tiang kat situ)

Yesterday, I was a bit plucky to have a round of golf game with husband. Sungguh seronok because Monday is a quiet day at the course. But consider this golf course is out in the woods, ayooo ..

On a lighter note, I�m considering to enroll Aliyah into toddler class next January � under the same school of Aliff. I want to alleviate her clinginess (errr.. ada ke word clinginess?) as to prepare for the arrival of new baby next year. But at the same time, I am feeling sorry having to send her to school when she is only 2 years old. Hmm.. the school fees is another thing to consider. USD2600 per school year is a lot of money to me. If both of them go to school, I would have to make 3 trips to school everyday. One time in the morning, once at 12 noon (to pick up Aliyah) and another one at 2.30 pm (to pick up Aliff)

Anyway, I am looking forward towards next week�s trip. All have been booked and organized. Perhaps I can have one trip home sometime in late January. Hurray. Azlan is talking to his boss if the company would pay for my ticket to fly home. Hehehe.. alasan? Nak buat pregnancy medical checkup lah. If not, mari lah kita pulang dengan kapal terbang murah yang warna merah itu.

Although Syawal has come to an end, we did manage to throw a �malaysian style� open house lunch last weekend for Azlan�s work colleagues � it was intentionally just for the expats and family but at the end he decided to invited the nationals as well. Maka mak macam lipas kudung dok kat dapur pulun masak. I had to ask extra helper to come in for the day (pinjam the driver�s wife), one pembantu at home is not enough. I even turned the driver into nanny that Saturday, to look after the kids and take them to park. Hehehehe.. nasib la kan, takkan nak biar budak-budak tu main sendiri without supervision � daddy still have to be work for half day.

I didn�t cook anything extra ordinary, only simple dish aje pun. Heheheeh.. nasi tomato with ayam masak merah, beef rendang, pineapple chutney and vegetable curry (and serunding daging mek ann). Along with that, we have soto ayam complete with all the condiments and pegedil and some dessert � the famous cherry ripe slice, fruits and some left over kuih raya.

Suppressed habis semua morning sickness that day, leaving it until that night for all the mabukness and stomach cramp. Tapi sempat lagi layan 2 episodes of Heroes sebab kami dua-dua penat sangat sampai tak boleh tidur.

Now that all that done, I have the time to myself to put together some plan for our next trip for this coming Christmas holidays (to be combined with eidul-Adha). This time around we want to cover the central of Java � Yogjakarta. I have read somewhere that it mentioned Jogya is the best tourist destination after Bali. With that, we�ll be able to cover Solo and the famous Borobudur temple. I have came out with detailed plan (husband is really nailing down to where we�ll stay, what we�ll do on each day, eateries to check out, bla, bla, bla). Done with that, he�ll have to book the flight and we are ready to go. Yipppiee daaa..

Oh, I also have JKT trip this weekend. A long weekend � from Friday till Tuesday. Husband is already there (along with our stuff, so I don�t have any luggage to carry) for work. And wife being sibuk, nak tag along to do my check up. The office has helped to make booking with the gynae with one of the best hospital in jkt � entah lah, I�m yet to check it out. I could leave the kids at home with the pembantu but then again, tak sampai hati since it is a long weekend. Angkut aje lah, bukan susah sangat pun. I used to traveling with the kids alone, so there�s no problem in handling them. Only that, I am not very keen with all the hassle in Jkt airport. Hmmphh.

It feels good to be back at home, leading a normal life � not quite. Aliff had been spreading the word that he�s going to have a party. So nak tak nak terpaksalah oblige to his request. So last minute jugak lah jadi macam headless chicken trying to outsource the food preparation. I ordered pastries from our favorite caf� outlet (hihihii mak order pastries dari hotel kau! Gatal betul.. I don�t know other bakery that could bake yummy stuff) and I managed to pull some good deal with a caterer from a sports club nearby daddy�s office. We used to be a member there so boleh lah sengih-sengih minta discount. From Rp60,000 + 21% per pax, I managed to bring it down to Rp40,000 nett. Very good deal, all in � mini burger, hotdog, fries, fruit, drinks and ice-cream. I only have to bake the birthday cake and prepare the party packs.

Maka al-kisah, party nya tengahari tadi, at school. Treat that as lunch for everybody. We were having with the whole school. Maka agak meriah lah tetapi anak teruna ku itu demam so he kinda push himself to go to school sebab dia tau �no school, no party� (tu pun pergi lambat, I sent him at 9.45am. hhehehe)

Daddy also made an effort to be around the party. Walaupun dia puasa, tapi tetap mahu luangkan masa untuk anak seorang. Baguskan?

Balik rumah, sudah penat. Semua tergolek tido. Mak dan anak2 semua pakat tidur.

Then, I had to supervise the maid in making some pizza scrolls for tomorrow cooking class. Kat sini, we have small group �mak encik�2 yang akan hantar the pembantu untuk belajar memasak (sharing recipes to cook). So, it�s my pembantu�s turn tomorrow at my place. It�s good session as they could learn with each other. Sambil-sambil tu boleh lah mereka socializing sikit eh?

Letih aaah.. now taking a break checking the mail and do a bit of surfing (I still have to type out the recipe for tomorrow � dah la kena translate dlm local language plak tu). Kids are out to the park, thus giving me some peace.

I should get some cooking done now � it�s already 4pm.

Back in BPN after 3 weeks of raya break. I�m so glad to be back here � (how irony) home sweet home. Everyone was looking forward to come home after having a hectic time in KL. Serious penat gila. We were out everyday � too many things to get done, people to meet up, things to buy, places to go. We were home just to sleep. I didn�t even get to cook a decent meal at home. Breakfast was both cereals and toast or bought (nasi lemak, roti canai).

The first week is puasa � hectic, trying to get all the shopping for raya done. Sambar baju siap aje for the whole family. I have no intention to buy any baju kurung for myself but I (unintentionally) spotted one baju kurung yg cantik di pandangan mata while we were having our supper at Coffee bean 2 nights before raya. Maka nak tak nak, husband agreed to get that for me walaupun poket nya terkopak agak rabak. On top of that, one gila thing that we did was to borong 10 pairs of Crocs shoes. One each for us and Azlan�s nieces as raya present. Hehehe.. pakai kasut plastic untuk raya? Belasah aje lah labu.

Raya was especially tiring, we were traveling pretty extensive for the first seven days. Raya breakfast in KL with hubby�s family then we shot of to Kuala Pilah to see my parents. The next day we continue our raya in Teluk Intan to visit my relatives and spent a night there. We also took a night off in Cameron Highlands on our way to Terengganu to visit Azlan�s relatives. We spent a night in Terengganu before heading back to KL. Later that week, we also took time off to Ipoh for a reunion with my cousins. All that ended with an open house at our place on Sunday. Bersyukur sangat sebab tak hujan � it rains almost every afternoon in KL. Dah la buat open house by the swimming pool yg sungguh open itu, kalau hujan, mana nak bakar satay nya, mana nak selamatkan food and with wet table. But alhamdulillah all turned out well. Thanks to all that came that day.

The last week of our break has seen us doing the errands � closure of azlan�s company, renewing passport & license, road tax for car, getting tax paid (ada ka patut LHDN kata aku hutang depa RM700+ for year 2003?? Ni yg nak marah ni, siap bagi warning untuk keluarkan warrant to bar me from leaving the country kalau tak bayar in 21 days). Saya ni rakyat yang baik, selalunya bayar on time. Tak tau la macamana they found out additional tax to be paid (in year 2007?? Hmmph!). We let the accountant to sort it out for me and end up I only have to pay some RM200+. Chit.tetap kena jugak tuh. RM200 tu pun duit jugak wooo.. boleh beli toys anak2.

We were also doing our homework and rounds to find some suitable property to invest. Ada lah 2 bijik yg berkenan di hati. Once we finalize our option, I foresee I get to go back to KL to sort it out. Yay! Boleh balik lagi..

Tetapi one thing that I am happy � I get to eat all the things I�ve wanted to eat badly. Dapat lah pergi Ayuttya for dinner (we celebrated early birthday for Aliff & Aliyah with family), Sundanese kat KLCC (pelik aahh,, dok kat indon tapi tetap nak gi sundanese restaurant tu apa hal?), multiple visits to Coffee beans, multiple visits to Uncle Lim�s (yummy laksa assam, roti bakar), roti canai, tossai segala, Las carretas for a round of Mexican food, nandos pun dpt pergi twice, McD visit toksah cakap lah that I had to moot to eat something else on our last day in KL (selalunya we�ll have breakfast at McD at airport before we leave). One only thing that I missed � burger yg jual kat stall tepi jalan tuh. Ish, camna boleh lupa nih??

Oh, by the way, we are now on our way for an additional family member. I found out the news several days before we head back to KL. Now I am 9 weeks pregnant. Hoping this will be a smooth journey for me especially being pregnant in here. I can�t afford to fly out every month to have the check up done and I don�t really want to get the check up done here (most expats fly out to S�pore or Jkt to have a proper check up). Ni kena guna instinct aje lah kalau sensing anything wrong.. hehehehe..
